What Deborah Sees

Deborah is legally blind. She is totally blind in her left eye and has a tiny amount of center tunnel vision in her right eye. The two pictures below illustrate what she can see. The picture on the left, taken at The Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico, during one of her trips there to teach long white cane mobility techniques, is what people with no visual disability see. The picture on the right illustrates what Deborah sees. It is similar to looking at the world through a soda straw.
